Bass player, Jax native and founding member of Limp Bizkit Sam Rivers passed away on Saturday. He was only 48 but, he left an indelible mark on music and culture. He went to Bishop Kenny, Arlington Middle and Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. He met Fred Durst at when both worked at a Chick-fil-a. I think at Regency but, I can’t confirm that. Seems as though 2025 has taken a heavy toll on the artists in our lives. May they find a better place.

Tank

Jake "Tank" Mitchell

If you asked Tank why he got in to radio he will tell you “Some kids wanted to be Zach Morris. I wanted to be ‘Dr’ Johnny Fever.” There isn’t anything else in the world that Tank could see himself doing.
